You may have heard us say that DDIN Impact Adapters are “tougher than the rest,”…but just how tough are they?
We pitted our impact adapters against some of the biggest names in impact tools to find out. Let’s just say that the proof is in the footage. And while we weren’t surprised by the results, you may be!
Using a simple torque tester mounted to a solid steel table, we tested just how much an impact adapter can endure when being pushed to the point of failure.
1/4″ Hex to 3/8″ Square (Green Impact Adapter)
The first impact adapter we tested was the smallest of the three. DNIA1438 – the green adapter.

| DNIA1438 | 1/4″ Hex to 3/8″ Square | 1-7/8″ | Green |
Against the first competitor, the DDIN Impact Adapter withstood a peak torque of up to 80 ft-lbs.
Brand #2 failed at a peak torque of 76 ft-lbs.
Brand #3 failed at a peak torque of 61 ft-lbs.
